I've spent nearly two decades turning data chaos into clarity—and I love every minute of it.

As a Senior Data Architect and Principal Data Engineer, I've had the privilege of building enterprise data solutions across industries that couldn't be more different: insurance companies protecting families, financial institutions moving billions, oil and gas operations powering the world, and pension funds securing retirements. Each brought unique challenges. Each taught me something new.

The Journey

My career started over 19 years ago, and I've never looked back. I spent 15+ years at Tata Consultancy Services leading complex database migrations—SQL Server, Oracle, AWS, Azure—you name it. I worked with clients across the UK and US, learning that the best solutions aren't just technically sound; they're built with empathy for the people using them.

Today, at Wipro Technologies, I'm designing and implementing modern cloud data platforms on Azure. I specialize in Databricks and large-scale transformations that process billions of records. My sweet spot? Medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold layers) that turns raw data into trusted insights while delivering real performance improvements and cost savings.

What I Actually Do

I build data platforms that scale. Azure, Databricks, PySpark—these are my tools, but the real work is understanding your business problem and engineering the right solution.

I design pipelines that perform. Whether it's ADF, SSIS, or Talend, I craft ETL processes that move data efficiently and reliably.

I optimize relentlessly. SQL and Spark workloads can always run faster and cheaper. I find those opportunities.

I migrate without the drama. Legacy systems to modern cloud? I've done it dozens of times with minimal downtime.

I implement governance that works. Data lineage, security frameworks, compliance—the unglamorous stuff that makes everything else possible.

And yes, I've built Cosmos DB solutions for distributed NoSQL workloads and spent 10+ years deep in SQL Server before that.
